Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist provides culturally responsive, safe, and high-quality occupational therapy services for clients within the Central Australian community. Services are predominantly delivered through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
The Occupational Therapist will support clients to optimize self-care and participation in functional activities to enable independence and social participation.
The role is primarily based in Alice Springs; occasional remote travel may be a requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to clients in the Central Australian community
- Support clients to optimize self-care and participation in functional activities
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet client needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working in a community-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
