About the Role

The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing support to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families to optimize their child's development.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team providing seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for children with a range of developmental and learning disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to optimize child development and access to NDIS services
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies for support
  • Provide training and education to families and caregivers on child development and NDIS services
