Job Description

The Senior Project Engineer Mechanical is responsible for overseeing the mechanical design and delivery aspects of complex integrated systems.

  • Lead a team of mechanical designers on assigned projects, coordinating tasks and resources.
  • Attend project review meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop system designs and layouts, considering factors such as cost, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage design schedules, budgets, and work orders to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing teams.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection/test plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other areas of the organization and junior employees.
  • Assist with system commissioning and testing to ensure seamless operation.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience in managing teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering high-quality results.
