Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder to join our team. As a key member, you will be involved in a wide variety of fabrication tasks, ensuring that no two days are the same.

The focus of this role is on aluminum welding and fabrication, essential for our marine projects, including work for the defense force, the Australian Antarctic Division, and more.

You will have the chance to work with a range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, both indoors and outdoors, contributing to diverse and exciting projects.

Role Overview:

This is not your typical welding job—each day presents new challenges and opportunities to enhance your skills.

As a welder in the marine industry, you will contribute to significant projects while enjoying the scenic landscapes and relaxed pace of life in Tasmania.

What We're Looking For:
  • Current Driver's License: A valid driver's license is essential for the role.
  • Cert III Qualifications: Must hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or an equivalent qualification.
  • Positive Skills Assessment as a Welder from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, or New Zealand.
  • Proven Experience in Aluminum Welding: Demonstrated expertise in aluminum welding and fabrication is a must.
  • Positive, Can-Do Attitude: We're looking for someone with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Willingness to Work Long Hours: Ability to work extended hours and some weekends to meet project deadlines.
