Virtual Reality Host Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Reality Host to join our team. This role involves hosting teams in a virtual environment, providing a fun and professional experience for customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Greeting, check-in, and briefing customers prior to the start of their virtual reality experience.
  • Managing virtual reality sessions and providing hints or clues when necessary to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during virtual reality sessions.
  • Host events such as children's parties and corporate functions in a virtual reality setting.
  • Maintaining and cleaning virtual reality equipment and ensuring the venue is tidy and organized.
  • Performing general administrative tasks including posting on social media accounts and managing bookings.
  • Opening and closing the venue, ensuring all equipment is secure and ready for the next day.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in customer-facing roles within the entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Able to work well under pressure, managing situations and resolving potential issues quickly and efficiently.
  • A proven track record of handling excited customers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • An ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and being proactive in problem-solving.
  • Experience achieving personal and business goals, with a passion for technology, gaming, and virtual reality.
