High-Tech Display Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled High-Tech Display Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Media department, you'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cutting-edge display systems.

This role involves working on permanent installations including billboards, pylons, and wall displays. You'll ensure each project is set up, configured, and maintained to the highest standard, combining hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and collaboration with various teams.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain high-tech display systems and control software.
  • Manage video signal flow (HDMI, SDI, DVI, CAT6, fibre) and power distribution.
  • Operate LED control software and troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, including pixel repair and alignment.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to deliver seamless installations.
  • Follow OH&S standards and site safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in high-tech display setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Proficient with display configuration software and familiar with processors, scalers, and media servers.
  • Understanding of DMX/ArtNet lighting integration and basic soldering/cable repair.
  • Able to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and operate safely in varied conditions.
  • Qualifications/tickets such as OH&S, Working at Heights, White Card, and Certificate III in Electronics & Communications are desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
