Seal Labourer Job Description

Suncoast Asphalt is a leading asphalt provider in south-east Queensland, serving commercial and residential customers. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Contracting Team as a Seal Labourer in Narangba, QLD, with opportunities for work in and around the greater Brisbane area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and sealing of asphalt surfaces.
  • Operate machinery and tools related to asphalt sealing.
  • Truck spotting and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in asphalt work or construction is an advantage, but not required.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain a strong physical stamina.
  • Valid driver's license and MR license advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in construction and a commitment to adhering to them.

  • Competitive base hourly rate from $28, pending experience, plus penalty rates and super.
