Business Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Energy & Utilities division on a 12-month contract. This role is central to identifying and delivering improvements across operational support functions.

This specialist will work closely with stakeholders across multiple business areas to analyse processes, define opportunities for optimisation, and contribute to scalable, data-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse and map existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements across multiple functions.
  • Lead the delivery of assigned workstreams, managing tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Support solution testing, implementation, and user adoption, while tracking benefits and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business support functions, especially within Finance, Commercial, and Risk.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and process mapping (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage own workstream with minimal supervision.
