Leadership Position in Road Construction

This role involves overseeing, coordinating and planning major and minor contracts related to road construction, maintenance and delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise major and minor contracts to ensure timely completion, cost-effectiveness, quality standards, safety protocols and environmental compliance are met.
  • Analyze work processes and procedures to implement improvements and facilitate the administration of contracts and workforce management.
  • Develop and manage diverse groups of staff by providing constructive feedback, identifying skills gaps and preparing development plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments, facilitate safe work method statements and conduct toolbox talks to ensure adherence to quality, safety and environmental systems.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in road construction and maintenance.
  • Leadership and frontline leadership qualifications.
  • Relevant licenses/tickets such as Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (PWZTMP) and a current Construction Industry White Card.
  • A valid motor vehicle driver's license.
