Job DescriptionWe are seeking qualified or unqualified OSHC Educators to join our team in various locations across Geelong and surrounding suburbs. As an After School Hours Care Educator, you will have the opportunity to work closely with primary school children, engaging them in outdoor and indoor activities, and assisting staff in delivering quality programs that are both fun and educational.
A typical day will involve supervising children in various settings, setting up outside of school clubs and activities, and providing a safe and secure environment for them to thrive. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with carers and families, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
Estimated Salary$25-$35 per hour
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- An ACECQA approved qualification list or working towards, with a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school-aged education & care, or Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years.
- Willingness to travel to different locations around your area.
- An ability to accept last-minute or same-day shifts, which is an advantage for casual roles.
- Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs.
- An understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework.
- Australian work rights.
- A willingness to gain your state-based Working With Children Card.
