HR System Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing data and systems to ensure accurate HRIS information and efficient HR operations.

This role involves leading and coordinating data-related activities that support organisational changes, Enterprise Agreement updates, and people processes within our team.

As a trusted point of contact, you will provide data guidance and support to the team, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements while maintaining robust employee data.

You will also contribute to system support activities such as process mapping, UAT testing for HRIS updates, maintain MS Forms and automation workflows.

Your work will help us improve the way we deliver services and make things easier for our people every day.

  • Skilled in data analytics and accuracy.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solver who uses data for insights.
  • Experience in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of HR frameworks, Awards, and Fair Work.
  • MS Office 365 products, Excel & Power BI.
  • MS Forms/Lists/Power Automate.
  • Success Factors or a similar HRIS – including EC Organisation Structures and Position Management.
  • Analytical and problem solving mindset.
  • Ability to understand process flows and impact/relationship between HR Information Systems, Payroll and SAP.
  • Knowledge of the utilities industry sector would be highly regarded.
