Job Overview

The Legal Advice and Strategy team is responsible for providing expert legal guidance on interpreting and developing legislation.

This role will support the development of client-focused legal advice and provide assistance to colleagues on legal and policy matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel and support for corporate and commercial matters, including procurement processes.
  • Effectively manage risk and workload in accordance with APS Values and Code of Conduct.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Be a qualified legal practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Possess a current Practising Certificate or be able to obtain one within three months.
