Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supported Playgroup Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our Early Years and Positive Ageing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality playgroup experiences, providing in-home support, and working collaboratively with families and community agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate play experiences that meet the physical and cultural needs of children.
- Provide in-home support to families, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with parent's case workers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for families.
- Collect and provide data to the Early Years and Positive Ageing Co-ordinator, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Act in accordance with Council's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with risk management and OH&S policies.
- Qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or Community Services at Diploma level or above.
- Experience working with vulnerable families, including outreach case management.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to support regular attendance at supported playgroups.
- Sound knowledge and skills in group work and facilitation, with the ability to work collaboratively with various community agencies.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence and Working with Children's check.
- Innovative and supportive team environment.
