The Injury Management Team Leader will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing plans that address return-to-work barriers, assisting ill or injured employees in achieving a safe and durable return to their pre-injury or new roles. They will engage in professional report writing and email communication, fostering stakeholder engagement and applying high-level conceptual and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions for complex problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing regular professional supervision, feedback, and performance appraisals for staff
  • Assisting the Manager of Injury Services in implementing strategic initiatives and ensuring quality management of services
  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships
  • Developing, coordinating, and implementing plans that address return-to-work barriers
  • Engaging in professional report writing and email communication
  • Fostering stakeholder engagement

This role offers a salary ranging from $80,000 - $120,000 + Super (experience dependent) + Bonus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work autonomously, managing their own diary and prioritizing tasks. With an emphasis on quality over quantity of billable hours, the agency provides a flexible and family-friendly work environment.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • An approved qualification in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Chiropractic, or Speech Pathology
  • Professional association membership in a relevant field
  • A valid driver's license for Western Australia
  • Familiarity with the WA Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 2023 and Regulations 2024
  • At least six years' experience in workplace rehabilitation and supervisory experience
