About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Psychologist to join our team at MediRecruit Australia Pty. As a Paediatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical therapy services to children and families in a supportive and private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with children and adolescents to address a range of mental health concerns
  • Develop and implement positive Behaviour Support plans to promote healthy behaviour and development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, cognitive assessments, ADOS assessments, and other relevant evaluations to inform treatment plans
  • Deliver services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and work with clients to set achievable goals and outcomes
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology (Honours or Masters level)
  • Current and valid full registration as a psychologist (general or clinical) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in development and implementation of positive Behaviour Support and Counselling
  • Eligibility to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission
  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
