About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Psychologist to join our Child Development Services team at Psychology: Leading Group. As a Paediatric Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services that empower children and support holistic, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and counselling for children under 13, addressing behavioral, emotional, and developmental issues.
  • Conduct psychometric testing to inform treatment plans and facilitate group programs tailored to children's needs.
  • Collaborate with the Paediatric team and external agencies to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes, participating in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate client records and contribute to service evaluations and quality improvement.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in Paediatric psychology.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to quality initiatives, and represent the Psychology Service within the organisation and the broader community.
About You

We are looking for a Paediatric Psychologist with a postgraduate qualification in Psychology and registration with AHPRA. You will have 2-3 years of experience in Paediatric Psychology, bringing expertise in assessing, intervening, and supporting children with neurodevelopmental, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

You will excel in cognitive and educational assessments and thrive in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to implement evidence-based programs. Your strong decision-making, communication, and organisational skills will enable you to manage your workload effectively in a dynamic environment.

You will be committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and have a proven ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Autism assessment, treatment planning, and group program delivery is highly regarded.
