Landscape Maintenance Team Leader

Eastern Suburbs Horticulture is a premier horticultural company based in Sydney, specializing in residential landscape management.

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily garden maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of garden care and presentation
  • Lead and supervise a team of gardeners on daily maintenance tasks
  • Operate general gardening equipment and light landscaping equipment
  • Care for plants, trees, and gardens
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in gardening and light landscaping equipment operation
  • Cert II in Horticulture (or similar) or equivalent experience
  • Current driver's license (class C)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Benefits:

  • Above award wages ($32-$36+ superannuation per hour full-time, based on experience)

Our ideal candidate will possess strong horticultural knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

About This Role

This is a leadership position within our team. If you have experience as a gardener and want to take on more responsibility, this may be the right role for you.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our garden care and presentation.

You will also be required to operate general gardening equipment and light landscaping equipment.

We are looking for someone who can work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.

If you have Cert II in Horticulture or equivalent experience, we would like to hear from you.

Please note that a current driver's license (class C) is also a requirement for this position.
