English Teacher

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated English teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field;
  • NESA accreditation and/or certification;
  • Excellent teaching skills and experience working with students of various ages and abilities;
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum programs and pedagogical approaches;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;

The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering effective learning programs, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting students' physical, social, cultural, and emotional wellbeing.

The school prioritises Explicit Direct Instruction, Specific Targeted Feedback, and Thinking Through Writing as pedagogical approaches that develop deep learning. Teachers are supported by an in-house pedagogical coaching team and encouraged to learn from each other through open professional learning culture.
