About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with children at the service, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
  • Develop and implement the Children's Program, reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all.
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with families to keep them informed about their child's progress and daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate observations and records of individual children's progress, using this information to inform teaching practices.
About You
  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of family communications and commitment to the holistic development of children.
