Position Overview

As a key member of the Counterparty Lifecycle Management division, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Onboarding processes. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments for both new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly within the ANZ region. This role is critical in maintaining a robust operational risk management framework and a resilient control culture.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Screen entity names against sanctions lists and evaluate adverse news related to clients.
  • Identify and escalate potential red flags and due diligence findings to the Financial Crimes Compliance team.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and documentation within the customer database.
  • Collaborate with clients and various business units to gather necessary KYC and legal documentation.
  • Oversee the onboarding process and address any inquiries related to customer lifecycle management.
  • Provide quality control checks for new and existing client assessments.
  • Drive initiatives that add value to stakeholders and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical role within the financial services sector, with a focus on KYC.
  • A proactive attitude, adaptability, and a strong sense of initiative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
