About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled KYC and Onboarding Analyst to join our Counterparty Lifecycle Management team at Macquarie. As an Anti-Money Laundering and Onboarding subject matter expert, you will play a critical role in supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new and existing customers to fulfill regulatory requirements with a focus on ANZ.

This key segregated control function supports institutional and corporate businesses, built on strong operational risk management and a control culture that is consistent and resilient. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of KYC regulations and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen entity names against sanctions and assess adverse news and politically exposed persons
  • Escalate red flags and due diligence findings to Financial Crimes Compliance
  • Maintain customer data and documents in the customer database
  • Liaise with clients and front and middle office staff to obtain KYC and legal documentation prior to set-up
  • Perform and manage onboarding and interface with different business desks on any customer lifecycle management related query
