Senior Accounting Role

We are seeking a senior accountant to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced accountants looking to take their career to the next level.

About the Opportunity

This role is perfect for accountants who have a strong background in financial services and want to work with a well-established accounting firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns for SMEs and large companies.
  • Providing tax and accounting advice to clients.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Developing and supporting junior team members.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and liaising with clients regarding compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of tax compliance experience within an accounting public practice firm in Australia.
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Experience in handling compliance work such as financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements and FBT returns.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
