Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living tasks, promoting independence and confidence
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, enhancing resident satisfaction and well-being
  • Promote resident autonomy, encouraging participation in activities that foster social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Maintain accurate records and document all interactions with residents, adhering to organizational policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements and Benefits:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent qualification; or completion of first year nursing degree including aged care placement
  • Previous experience working in an aged care facility, demonstrating ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Up-to-date vaccination requirements as per the Australian Immunisation Handbook
