Job Description:

We are seeking an Electronics and Communications specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge industry, working while completing your nationally recognised qualification.

About the Role:
  • Assisting with plant operations including shredders, crushers, conveyors, and separation systems.
  • Programming and operating VFD/VSD/PLC plant control systems.
  • Supporting the installation and testing of low-voltage plant control systems.
  • Learning supervised battery works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and BMS setup.
  • Operating specialist equipment: load banks, dischargers/chargers, analysers, balancers.
  • Performing fault finding, repairs, and commissioning under a tiered supervision system.
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of ewaste and battery recycling plant systems.
  • Assisting with comms, CCTV, and fire detection system upgrades.

  • You have a strong interest in electronics and communications, as well as renewable energy and electrical systems.
  • You possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You are a safety-conscious individual who takes initiative and contributes to site safety.
