Brand Manager - Beauty Category

This is a short-term contract opportunity based in Melbourne for a contractor with prior contracting experience. This role supports the development and delivery of growth-driving marketing strategies and retail media plans across the beauty category.

The Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Brand Manager / Marketing Specialist (Beauty Area) to support the development and delivery of growth-driving marketing strategies and retail media plans across the beauty category.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a strategic, executional marketing role, ideally in beauty, retail, or an agency.
  • A deep understanding of the beauty consumer mindset, trends, and content formats that drive engagement is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing high-impact brand partnerships for a portfolio of premium and emerging beauty brands, balancing storytelling with commercial outcomes.
  • Leveraging growing retail media capabilities, including first-party data, media inventory, and in-store touch-points, is a key aspect of this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across in-store, digital, paid media, social, and experiential channels.
  • Activate campaigns through the marketing ecosystem, partnering with internal teams to deliver data-led, omni-channel programs that drive conversion and brand equity.
  • Collaborate and support the Marketing Manager to deliver broader category and enterprise-level marketing priorities.
  • Support the development of new retail media opportunities, aligning with the global shift in department store marketing teams becoming performance-driven media partners.
