Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, forging partnerships with key stakeholders, and expanding market presence within air freight.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and prospect new business opportunities, including potential customers, partners, and industry collaborators, through targeted outreach and networking efforts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client portfolio.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Work with the State Sales Manager (Air) or Director of Ocean Freight to develop strategies and activities to support existing customer relationships and grow new accounts.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and teams to develop value-added solutions.
- Provide quotes to clients in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement or optimisation.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, capable of handling a variety of tasks with efficiency and enthusiasm. You will also have:
- Experience in air or ocean freight processes either domestically or internationally.
- Demonstrated history of achieving sales success and fostering business growth in the logistics sector.
- Responsible and driven individual committed to delivering high-quality service.
- Capability to execute strategic plans effectively.
- Effective persuasion abilities.
- Excellent client relationship management skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Full working rights in Australia.

You will have access to:
- Salary of $110,000 - $130,000 + super + vehicle allowance + Bonus.
