Game Server Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Game Server Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in developing efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance multiplayer gaming server solutions using C#/.NET. You will be responsible for collaborating with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server, working with hosting/infrastructure experts to design and implement cloud deployment solutions using AWS, and cooperating with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions that support multiplayer servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-performance multiplayer gaming server solutions using C#/.NET.
  • In collaboration with Unity experts, debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • Work with hosting/infrastructure experts to design and implement cloud deployment solutions using AWS.
  • Cooperate with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions that support multiplayer servers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with C#/.NET in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Strong understanding of supporting technologies, such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with Unity development.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably on AWS.
  • Knowledge of source control (preferably GIT) and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, memcached, and Redis is a plus.
