Job Title

A collaborative role in a technology, media and telecommunications team is available.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with lawyers across national offices to maintain a strong presence in the Australian market.

You will gain exposure to significant transactions and advise clients across various sectors such as technology, healthcare, media and banking.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Telecommunications and data centre projects, regulatory matters and M&A transactions.
  • Data & AI governance, regulatory advice, compliance and investments.
  • Cyber incident response, law enforcement engagement and regulatory advice.
  • Outsourcing - technology and business process outsourcing.
  • Corporate business separations, systems integrations and carve outs.
  • Digital transformation projects.
  • Startups and innovation advisory services, transactions and capital raises.
  • Media regulatory matters and broadcasting rights.
About You

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in a TMT team within a top-tier law firm focusing on TMT work.
  • Knowledge of Australian privacy, data protection and cyber laws.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating IT/telecommunications contracts preferably in a common law jurisdiction.
  • Ability to handle both small and large matters effectively.
  • Desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
