Project Officer Role Overview

This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and research that will promote positive change across diverse communities.

Our team is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of population health strategies and programs across Victoria. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our Population Health team.

  • Key responsibilities include supporting or leading public health or research projects, analyzing data, and writing clear, insightful reports.
  • The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly adapt to new software and digital systems essential for effective project management and data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, project management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting or leading public health or research projects is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are required to ensure alignment and clarity in fast-paced, results-driven settings.
