We are seeking a skilled and motivated Public Health Registrar to join our team in a highly innovative public health training environment.
- Gain comprehensive training from experienced professionals, developing your skills in epidemiology, public health medicine, and community-based practice.
- Contribute to impactful project work and research that improves health outcomes in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Participate in capacity building initiatives, including teaching and policy development.
This is a 12-month fixed term position, with flexibility for part-time or full-time options (0.5 - 1.0 FTE).
Essential Requirements:- Hold current general medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Possess at least three years post-graduate medical experience (including one year of MPH study).
- Achieve a Master of Public Health degree covering AFPHM core discipline areas, or be enrolled in final year MPH.
- Meet RACP eligibility criteria for the Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Program.
- Demonstrate experience in public health, infectious diseases, or epidemiology.
- Show strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality data.
- Experience working in community-based settings.
- Experience working with vulnerable or marginalised populations.
- Ability to spend time in rural/regional Victoria and international locations.
