Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost planning and control services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost planning strategies for projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of cost estimates and reports.
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of cost reports, including progress claims and variations, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Engage with clients and project stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice on cost management best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of cost management services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to promote Turner & Townsend's cost management services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in cost management, with a strong background in project cost planning and control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in cost management software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
