Role Overview

This is a Cyber Security Risk Adviser position in our global Cyber Security function. The role contributes to our cyber security posture through leading cyber security risk assessments and providing pragmatic cyber security guidance for identified risks and controls.

You will work collaboratively with a global Cyber Security team and be responsible for providing cyber security risk advice and guidance in a practical business context to enable continued innovation and support of our digital future.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and pragmatic specialist cyber security guidance for IT and Operational Technology projects, both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct cyber security risk assessments of new and existing technologies to identify risks and appropriate controls which balance security and operability.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships to support the broader organisation in adopting Group Standards, Procedures and Guidelines related to cyber security.
  • Contribute to internal processes and initiatives within Cyber Risk and Advisory, delivery of the Cyber Security strategy.
  • Support targeted annual risk reviews of key functions, technologies and systems within our landscape.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Practical experience in a cyber security-based role, preferably in a large organisation or asset-intensive industry.
  • Experience identifying and understanding cyber security risk, preferably in IT and OT contexts.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to a range of audiences, including non-technical and senior stakeholders.
  • A commitment to safety, yourself and your team.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks used for identifying and managing risk (e.g., NIST, ISO, NERC CIP, ISA/IEC).
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build credibility and collaboration.
