Production Manager

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our production facilities. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of production staff, ensuring timely delivery of orders and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources to complete tasks efficiently.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to develop and implement production plans, ensuring timely delivery of orders and meeting quality standards.
- Quality Control: Oversee product quality, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor consumables and coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure timely restocking, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
- Training and Development: Assist in the recruitment and training of production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Health and Safety: Uphold workplace health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production or supervisory role, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Qualifications: Completion of a management-focused course or certificate, such as a Diploma in Leadership and Management, or Cert IV in Project Management (or proven experience in lieu of formal qualifications).
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to assess product quality, high level of computer literacy, and proficiency in identifying electronic components.
