Job Title

Construction Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to provide expert advice on project management and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction law, with particular emphasis on infrastructure agreements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on project planning, development, and execution
  • Negotiating and drafting construction contracts, including tender submissions and consultancy agreements
  • Representing clients in tribunals involving issues such as security, retention, and defects
  • Assisting in the preparation of project term sheets, letters of intent, early works agreements, and ECI/EPC contracts
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar legal capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of construction obligations supporting major development projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment
