**Job Opportunity: Manager Investigations**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and drive key investigative outcomes in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The role requires a highly experienced leader with a passion for proactive, creative and cutting-edge investigative techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of investigators to deliver high quality investigations of complaints, consistent with the Commission's obligations under the Health Care Complaints Act.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong communication skills to build a positive culture within the team and deal with complainants and providers in highly sensitive and complex matters. You will also need to be able to drive and foster a culture of continuing improvement in the face of competing demands and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of investigators to deliver high quality investigations of complaints.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve investigative outcomes and reduce case backlogs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of investigative efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track investigative progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an investigative role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality investigative outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
