Zoos Victoria is a leading conservation organisation dedicated to protecting and preserving wildlife and their habitats. As a world-renowned zoo-based organisation, we offer a unique opportunity for Victorian secondary school students to gain hands-on experience in wildlife conservation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff in various departments to gain a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation practices.
- Participate in a five-day placement program during Victorian Government school terms.
- Applicants must be Victorian secondary school students aged 15+ and in Years 9-12.
- Applicants must have a passion for wildlife and conservation.
- Applicants must apply in discussion with their school Careers Coordinator.
- Applicants must submit a maximum 1-page cover letter addressing the criteria outlined in the Zoos Victoria Role Description.
- Applicants must complete and sign the Department of Education's Proposed Work Experience with Animals Form and upload it instead of a resume.
