Senior Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Waste Strategy and Circular Economy Team. As a Graduate or Mid-level Consultant, you will assist senior consultants in delivering waste management plans and circular economy projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing waste management plans and operational waste management plans for various development types;
- Creating resource recovery and circular economy strategies;
- Strategic waste management planning;
- Local government service reviews;
- Tender documentation and procurement processes;
- Feasibility assessments and financial modeling;
- Funding applications;
- Waste awareness and education strategies;
- Project management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field;
- Previous experience in the waste industry or waste management/education is desirable;
- Strong aspiration to achieve sustainable resource recovery and waste management outcomes;
- Advanced Word and Excel skills;
- Full working rights;
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
