IT Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to take on the challenge of managing our virtual server infrastructure. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation, stability and security of our IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing virtualised server environments (VMware, Hyper-V or similar) and strong knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and implement virtual server infrastructure to meet business requirements.
- Administer backup and recovery processes using Commvault to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds to proactively address potential issues.
- Respond to incidents and service requests providing effective troubleshooting and resolution within agreed timeframes.
- Perform regular system maintenance patching and updates to safeguard system health and compliance.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise in managing virtualised server environments.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
- Experience using monitoring and alerting platforms such as SolarWinds.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve incidents efficiently.
