About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Community Outreach Worker to join our Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) program in the Broome area. This program supports individuals with mental health diagnoses who are eligible for housing support.

As a Casual Community Outreach Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals access local services and achieve their recovery goals while living in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support consumers to increase their ability to participate in their clinical and psycho-social support needs.
  • Assist consumers in developing skills to self-manage their lifestyle and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with specialist mental health services.
  • Work with consumers' individualised plans and track progress in line with funding requirements.
  • Administration and record keeping.

Requirements

  • Certificate in Mental Health or relevant Health Services.
  • Previous experience working with people with mental illness or psycho-social disability.
  • Passion for client outcomes and mental health advocacy.
  • High computer literacy and administration skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
  • Current valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
