We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with injuries or illnesses to return to work and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: You will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, working closely with them to develop and implement personalized return to work plans.
- Return to Work Outcomes: You will apply your clinical knowledge and expertise to improve return to work outcomes for our clients, working closely with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement effective return to work strategies.
- Assessments and Evaluations: You will conduct a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
- A qualification in Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Osteopathy
- Full Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A desire to problem-solve and innovate in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for injury prevention and return to work
- A current drivers' license and access to a vehicle
