Administrative Officer Role Overview

The Administrative Officer Level 3 is a vital position that ensures the efficient management of surgery waitlists and elective admissions.

  • This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality customer service to patients, visitors, and staff across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to patient enquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records within electronic patient administration systems (eMR Outpatient Clinic Scheduler, Surginet, and iPM).
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve effective work practices, meeting deadlines and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience preferably in a healthcare setting or related industry.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to drive success in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality service and driving continuous improvement efforts.
  • Familiarity with electronic patient administration systems or ability to learn quickly.
