Recreational Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Leisure and Entertainment Officer to join our Wollongong home, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver engaging leisure activities that promote social interaction and overall well-being.
This is a permanent part-time position offering a competitive salary of $32.20 per hour, plus superannuation and penalty rates for nights and weekends. Our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, access to on-site amenities, and a supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current First Aid certificate
- Completed a Certificate III or above in Aged care or Lifestyle (desirable)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creative mindset
- Previous experience working with the elderly
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
- Demonstrated organisation skills
