Mental Health Professional Lead

The role of a Senior Mental Health Clinician involves providing high-level clinical services in correctional centres, managing complex assessments and interventions to support wellbeing and safety.
- Applying behaviour change models to deliver effective interventions
- Developing support plans tailored to individual needs
- Mentoring team members to enhance their clinical skills
- Maintaining professional development through active learning and engagement in professional activities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing multidisciplinary team including social workers and occupational therapists. As a compassionate mental health professional, you will work within intervention and legislative frameworks to enhance the delivery of clinical care and discipline specific services.
Key requirements include:
- Demonstrating knowledge of theories, models and research related to behaviour change techniques
- Developing and/or reviewing behavioural support management plans
- Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to promote a supportive environment
