About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Solutions Architecture team, you will be responsible for crafting cloud-based solutions for our Enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to create and execute technical strategies that delight our Enterprise customers.
  • Partner with customers and AWS teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
