High-Voltage Operations Lead

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within our high-energy CPI Manufacturing and Fabrication team.

In this senior role, you will lead a team of panel builders, leading hands, and support staff—ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and on time.

You will play a key role in managing shifting priorities, driving team performance, and keeping complex infrastructure projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate workshop operations to deliver high-quality electrical panels.
  • Manage production schedules and align output with project timelines and requirements.
  • Oversee procurement activities and ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on tender reviews, planning, and project delivery.
  • Monitor job progress, track costs, and provide regular performance reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of production team members.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in production, project, or site management—ideally in electrical manufacturing, HV infrastructure, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of panel builds, switchboards, or industrial electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage workshop teams.
  • Confident managing multiple projects with tight timelines and evolving scopes.
  • Commercially aware, with an ability to balance delivery performance and cost control.
  • Practical, calm under pressure, and highly effective at solving problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across departments and stakeholders.
