Horse Educator Job Opportunity

A renowned thoroughbred racing stable is seeking a skilled Horse Educator to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.

About The Role

As a Horse Educator, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the training plan for each horse under the guidance of an experienced trainer. You will work closely with the stable staff and have a genuine passion for horses.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be required to work on public holidays on a rotational basis and to work a reasonable number of additional hours as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate 3 or equivalent international qualification or at least 3 years full-time experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience at qualified level.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of horse handling and training methods specific to the thoroughbred racing industry.
  • Safe operation of all training/racing equipment and personal safety equipment.
  • Handling horses from yearlings upwards with a variety of temperaments.
