Job Summary

The Chief Operations Officer - Facilities Management will lead the site facilities operation in designated Apple buildings, overseeing the shift operation team to ensure smooth building systems. This role involves assessing works performed by the operation team and services delivered by third parties, reviewing service reports/checklists, and ensuring documentation aligns with stakeholders' expectations and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with FM partners and specialist vendors to optimize planned preventive maintenance programs.
  • Review and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Establish Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for critical environments and roll out to operation team members.
  • Attend to complaints or abnormalities and solve issues timely.
  • Plan and forecast annual operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) for routine and reactive maintenance projects.
  • Track utility consumption and implement energy management and optimization programs.
  • Partner with EHS teams to develop green initiatives and execute to reduce the company's carbon footprint.
  • Mentor and coach operation team members to further develop competencies.
Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with Apple design and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
  • Take ownership of ensuring the condition and safety of office premises comply with relevant regulatory and group policies and procedures.
Requirements

This role requires a strong engineering background/knowledge to troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with Apple Regional Engineering teams to implement solutions and improvements, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance operations. Effective communication is crucial, maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between project teams, vendors, and the operation team, addressing inquiries, and providing timely responses to resolve issues.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
