Kitchen Team Member

The role of a kitchen team member is multifaceted and rewarding. You will contribute to the well-being of elderly residents by providing them with nutritious and delicious meals, supporting their health and happiness.

This position involves assisting in the delivery of high-quality food products while adhering to established protocols and procedures. As a kitchen team member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food and beverage products to a high standard, and completing cleaning tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent high-quality customer service
  • Prepare food and beverage products to prescribed standards
  • Complete cleaning tasks as required
  • Advise chef on duty of any catering-related issues or needs
  • Attend team meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Passion for delivering great service and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of HACCP/food safety programs
  • Cert III in Cookery or Hospitality (desirable but not essential)
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg
  • Willingsness to undergo a pre-employment medical check
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
