Leading a Team of Engineers

As a Staff Engineer at our Melbourne office, you will lead a team of engineers who are passionate about building technology used by millions of people across 19 countries.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on men's health by designing and developing scalable systems that process large volumes of data.

With a strong background in software development and experience in senior/lead roles, you will be responsible for guiding your team through complex technical challenges and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Some of the key skills required for this role include:

  • 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in senior/lead roles
  • Strong understanding of Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and AWS
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems using AWS Lambda
  • Deep understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident response for production systems
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design and development of scalable systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
  • Guide the team through complex technical challenges and ensure the adoption of best practices
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
