Job Description

The Risk & Assurance Management team addresses our clients' needs across markets, from strategic engagements to operational face and throughout the project life cycle.

  • Provide innovative risk solutions to clients across various industries
  • Leverage internal and external relationships and contribute to business development activities within the team
  • Perform a variety of risk assessments and techniques for clients
  • Undertake technical risk modelling using various Risk and Consequence software
  • Immerse yourself into projects and work with budget and commercial deliverables
  • Promote relationships with existing and potential clients leading to repeat business through exceptional client service
  • Prepare concise, accurate and focused written analysis, recommendations and presentations under the direction of the team's executive advisors
  • People leadership to provide direction and coaching to develop team members and contribute to the overall functioning of the Business Group
  • Technical leadership and involvement in projects and direction and input on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals
  • Facilitate effective risk workshops

What You Will Bring To The Team:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering or Science related to process safety (Chemical, Mechanical preferred) or similar discipline
  • 5 to 10 years industry experience in a recognised consulting, chemical processing, heavy industry, transport, mining, corporate or regulatory environment
  • Experience working in a risk, audit, governance or compliance position
  • Experience facilitating workshops using a variety of risk assessment techniques e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, SMS, FMEA, bowties
  • Experience undertaking risk and consequence modelling
  • Experience developing scopes of work and cost estimates for proposals
  • Training in the use of specific risk software will be provided but previous experience in PHAST, SAFETI, @Risk, PHAPro, BowtieXP is highly desired
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
